High-End development has been rapid and 5-Star resorts and hotels have opened across the Island. International Hospitals have opened and they are of an excellent standard and the opening of a Tesco/Lotus shopping centre means you can buy all the essentials under one roof. There are still plenty of beach hut and bungalow operations to cater for the backpacking fraternity. From the beautiful scenery and waterfalls of the West coast to the all night party paradise of Chaweng, there is an adventure around every corner.
