Package Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Cochin/Transfer to Cochin

On arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station.The commercial capital and most cosmopolitan city of Kerala, Cochin in Ernakulam is also known as “Queen of Arabian Sea” is one of the finest natural harbours in the World. This was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portugese, Dutch etc. Sightseeing of Cochin – visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets.

Day 02: Cochin to Munnar

This morning after breakfast Then to Munnar.Check Iin at Hotel. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. The day at leisure. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 03: Munnar City Tour

This morning after breakfast your will visit to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. After noon at leisure. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 04: Munnar to Thekkady

This morning breakfast.Checkout from the hotel and drive to Thekkady, On arrival Checkin to the hotel . Local Sightseeing and Overnight stay.

Thekkady is one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves, the Periyar wild life sanctuary spread across 777 Sq. KM. of which 360 Sq. KM is thick ever green forest. The Periyar wild life sanctuary was declared as a Tiger Reserve in 1978 noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty.

Day 05: Thekkady to Kumarakom

This morning breakfast.Check out from the Thekkady and drive to Kumarakom, on arrival check in to hotel. Local sightseeing and overnight stay.

A vibrant backwater hamlet, Kumarakom is a tiny hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake - a stretch of backwater spread over 900 sq. kms. The hamlet clings to tradition and the local population prefers to live adhering to their old ways. Yet every modern amenity is available with adash of tradition and culture interwoven in to the fabric of everyday life and its truly fascinating to observe as you glide past them in your canoe, motor boat or houseboat a perfect example of give and take with mother nature…………naturally.

Day 06: Kumarakom to Alleppey

This morning after breakfast you will proceed to Alleppey. By noon check in at the house boat in Alleppey for a 20 hour house boating through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Overnight in the house boat. House boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen ,dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters.

Day 07: Alleppey to Kovalam

This Morning after breakfast Check out from the Houseboat (check out time 9.30 AM) and proceed to Kovalam. Evening enjoy at Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 08: Kovalam City Tour

This Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed for a sightseeing Thiruvanthapuram covering Museum complex, Sri. Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach.

Day 09: Kovalam to Kanyakumari

This morning breakfast.Check out from the hotel and drive to Kanyakumari, on arrival check in to hotel. Local sightseeing and overnight stay.

Captivating Kanyakumari the southern most end of Tamilnadu and the lands end of India is one of the most popular tourist spot of the Country. The beautiful town on the very tip of the Indian Peninsula is set on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. The town is at its best during Chaitra Poornima (full moon day in April), when the Sun and Moon are face to face at the same horizon. Other full moon days are also special when you can see the sunset and the moon rise almost simultaneously.

Day 10: Kovalam – Trivandrum

Today after breakfast leave for Trivandrum. International Airport/railway station to board flight for 0nward destination.

Alleppey

A slice of Venice in the heart of Kerala, Alleppey is a mix of shady streets set around a grid of canals spilling into the vast watery highways of the region. The most popular place to organise a foray into the backwaters, this is the base for most of the houseboat-action in Kerala, and home to the famous Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race. It’s worth stopping in Alleppey to soak in some tropical village life before making a beeline for the backwaters.

Cochin

Cochin or Kochi, as it is called now is situated on the west coast of India in the beautiful greenish state of Kerala. Cochin has long been eulogised in tourist literature as the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’. This simple heckneyed phrase reflects the beauty and long-standing maritime importance. The city is basically a collection of islands and narrow peninsulas and can be mainly divided in to Ernakulam, Willington Island, Mattancherry and Fort Cochin, which spreads around 87sq.kms. Ernakulam is the business centre and forms the main land. It is separated from the Fort Cochin and Mattancherry by the river Periyar that flows down to the Arabian Sea. Cochin has the finest natural harbors in the world around which the city has grown.

Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari is a district which located in Kerala state to the west and Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu to the north and east. Kanniyakumari is famous for its spectacular sunrises and sunsets, especially on full moon days, The beach itself is a beautiful sight with lmuklti-colouted sand.The beaches are clean and the waters a clear, frothing blue. Kanyakumari is often set up as a geographical antonym to Kashmir, to suggest the span and variety of the sub continent. For the visitor the experience would be opposite and the pleasure equal. Besides the waters and the coast, Kanyakumari is essentially a temple town. The most prominent temple, the Kumari Amman, is dedicated to the goddess Parvathi as a virgin.

Kovalam

Kovalam is one of the most popular natural tourist destinations in the world. It is a coastal town on the Arabian Sea. Kovalam is about 13 km from the center of Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), the capital of the state of Kerala.

Kumarakom

Kumarakom is a tourist village in Kottayam district, Kerala. It is an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. It is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala, with a collection of branched bodies all lined by beautiful, thick, lush and peaceful greenery. A large number of coconut trees line the horizon to add the perfect tropical touch to the landscape.

Munnar

Munnar hills is siatuated at an altitude of 5000 to 8000 Ft above sea level. and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. This beautiful hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town.

Thekkady

Thekkady is a nature lover's delight of unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. Thekkady, with its unspoilt tropical forests and incredible wealth of animal and plant life is a naturalist’s paradise. The journey to Thekkady takes you through quaint little hill towns and softly contoured hill slopes surrounded by plantations of tea, coffee and spices like cardamom and pepper. Thekkady is well known for the Periyar National Park and elephants are the major attractions here. The climate in Thekkady is cool and pleasant in summers.
