Destination Details

Kovalam

Kovalam is one of the most popular natural tourist destinations in the world. It is a coastal town on the Arabian Sea. Kovalam is about 13 km from the center of Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), the capital of the state of Kerala.

Alleppey

A slice of Venice in the heart of Kerala, Alleppey is a mix of shady streets set around a grid of canals spilling into the vast watery highways of the region. The most popular place to organise a foray into the backwaters, this is the base for most of the houseboat-action in Kerala, and home to the famous Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race. It’s worth stopping in Alleppey to soak in some tropical village life before making a beeline for the backwaters.

Munnar

Munnar hills is siatuated at an altitude of 5000 to 8000 Ft above sea level. and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. This beautiful hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town.

Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari is a district which located in Kerala state to the west and Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu to the north and east. Kanniyakumari is famous for its spectacular sunrises and sunsets, especially on full moon days, The beach itself is a beautiful sight with lmuklti-colouted sand. The beaches are clean and the waters a clear, frothing blue. Kanyakumari is often set up as a geographical antonym to Kashmir, to suggest the span and variety of the sub continent. For the visitor the experience would be opposite and the pleasure equal. Besides the waters and the coast, Kanyakumari is essentially a temple town. The most prominent temple, the Kumari Amman, is dedicated to the goddess Parvathi as a virgin.
